Micro Bus!

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has officially announced that the Micro-bus is to go into production.  As you can see from the pictures that it is a bit different.  Pushing the parameters in both style and concept the new Micro bus is certainly going to be a head turner!!

Volkswagen say:  "The Microbus is designed to be an efficient, mon0-volume vehicle.  Its an idea inspired by the shape of a capsule.  So it's got an incredible amount of completely uninhibited space inside."

The bus will be full of fancy features such as the proposed power dual sliding doors and the rear view camera (mounted above the number plate) attached to a 7" fold-away screen in the centre roof console!!  Its is proposed to be a bit of a beastie as well, especially if it gets the 230bhp V6 lump!  

It will also come with a few handy features, the middle and rear seats would be completely removable (even with the 8" screens mounted in the backs of each seat!) the middle seats would also swivel through 180-degrees.  Thoughts of DVD players, Games consoles and a table are also all on the cards!!

Well it seems like a very good deal, there's some nice kit included and with the usual high standard of build that Volkswagen are known for surely they are onto a winner - or is this micro machine really going to be any match for the original camper?
